(Female) Mittens was the fourth born in this litter. She was named by our oldest daughter for her tiny white mitts on her toes of all of her feet. She is kind and likes to snuggle with her brother Nosey – who looks very similar to her. She loves a good ball chewing..
Mittens weighed in at 178 grams the day after her birth. At the vet visit she weighed 1.9 kg (4.1 lbs). You can see her growth over time on the growth chart from the menu tab above.
Mittens is a powderpuff Chinese Crested with the following distinguighing characteristics: Black hair over her body with tiny white mitts on all of her toes with a tiny sprinkle of white on her forehead and around her nose. She is quite and a bit shy. She likes to play with 7-Up and Nosey. She can be seen curling with Nosey to sleep. She is snuggly and has a rascal edge sometimes.
“Mittens” was adopted to her forever home yesterday to a lovely couple that has been looking forward to a new friend for some time. Their previous friend, “Buttons”, lived a long life of 12 years and they are excited have a new friend in their life. She has been renamed “China” and we look forward to hearing how she grows in the years ahead.
