We received a neat update the other day from Puppio’s new family. He is doing very well and starting to fit in. Judging from this photo they shared, I’d say he’s quite comfortable 🙂 His new name is “Yoshi”! We decided to name him Yoshi. It means “gentle & kind” in Japanese. Keiko (their other Chinese Crested pal) means “loved or adored one”. We thought it would be a nice match We can’t think...
“Puppio” has just been adopted to a lovely couple who has a Chinese Crested in their family already. It is neat that Puppio will have a friend to play with in his new family. Whereas “Patches” was my wife’s personal favorite, “Puppio” was mine. His new parents mentioned that they will keep in touch, so I will update once we hear of his new name.

7-Up seems to be an elusive little man when it comes to pictures – I just noticed that I don’t have too many of him lately. I’ll rectify that today☺ This one is cute – 7-Up taking a break from playing with his brothers by the Christmas Tree.
Well, the brood is getting smaller and we can definitely notice a different in the hustle and bustle. We have three friends left, known by their code names: 7-Up, Jaybird, and Puppio. Here you can see them as we usually do – snuggled in together on the couch after a raucous bout of play.
Jaybird and the gang collapsed on the couch after a hard day of play. Couldn’t resist snapping a shot of them while they slept. Jaybird’s under hair appears to be growing in pure white. Once trimmed he’s gonna look like a completely different little boy.
This is a great picture of “Puppio” all snuggled in on the couch just prior to Christmas.
“7-Up” was the 7th baby and was born at exactly 7:00 AM (thus his name). He is a unique little man, hairless, with a stripe of hair down his back and hair on his legs that make it look like he’s wearing a pair of chaps. He is extremely playful and loves to snuggle. They are VERY affectionate, playful, loving, and kind animals that are unique in appearance. They come in three varieties: (true) Hairless, Hairy Hairless (slightly fuzzy with a thin layer of hair), and Powderpuff (fully double-coated). Both types may be present in the same litter. Chinese Crested dogs are hypo-allergenic & extremely friendly. There’s nothing like them!
